Favorite hobby

I’m someone who picks up hobbies and forgets about them two days later, but the one consistent hobby I’ve had for years has been tending to my houseplants and gardening. Something else I love — although I’m not sure if it’s as much of a hobby as it is a money pit — is skincare. I’m constantly trying out different treatments and products, and of course, shopping for the perfect sheet mask.

If you could start a movement, what would it be?

First, I’d like to express my unwavering support for Brady’s movement to make daylight savings time permanent. We will make it happen!

Personally, I think the world has enough problems to solve, so it’s far wiser to join an existing movement rather than start my own from scratch. A few movements I am proud to support today are the abortion rights movement and movement to reform the American criminal justice and prison system.

What’s something inspiring you right now?

As the end of each year approaches, I typically start feeling reflective about goals and life. The poem “What Is Success” (often misattributed to Ralph Waldo Emerson, written by Bessie Anderson Stanley) has inspired me throughout different seasons of life to keep a grounded perspective about what it means to live a successful life.

What part of your job brings you the most joy?

Hands down, my teammates. From the funny memes and GIFs we share on the daily to the thought-provoking discussion we have about social media news and trends, I truly love my colleagues and appreciate how authentically everyone shows up to work every day.
