We are thrilled to announce that
Joseph Giumarra has been promoted from vice president to senior vice president, corporate and tech. Effective this week, Joe will work with the HAVAS Red leadership team to drive the growth of the corporate and tech practice.
For those counting, this is Joe’s fourth role at the agency — and perhaps the most fitting chapter yet. He first joined us in April 2018 as account supervisor, was promoted to associate vice president in October 2019, and departed in March 2022. But like the best kind of boomerang, he came back.
In November 2023, Joe rejoined us as vice president, and in the time since, he has made it unmistakably clear that there was more story left to write here.
“Joe‘s impact has been felt significantly in his time at Red — both in his first go-round and since he’s been back the last two years. His strong strategic communications, media relations and account management skills have made him a respected and valued member of our team, and the client trust he’s built is evident in the way he is regularly requested by name to lead their accounts.” — Lesley Sillaman, Managing Director, HAVAS Red
Joe’s proven track record includes developing and executing integrated media strategies for leading enterprises, technology companies and nonprofits. Known for transforming complex ideas into compelling narratives, he brings a rare combination of strategic clarity, executive-level collaboration and relentless drive to everything he touches.
Across 15 years in the industry, Joe has built visibility for some of the most recognized names in tech and the public sector, including GitLab, Okta, Twilio, Rhode Island Commerce Corporation, WEX and The Global Climate Action Summit.
In his current role, Joe leads the ManpowerGroup, Experis, CSAA, Reckitt and Sanas teams, while contributing actively to new business development and collaborating with HAVAS Formula colleagues across multiple accounts.
Beyond the client work, Joe has had a huge impact on driving a culture of professional growth and development — a dimension of leadership as central to who we are at HAVAS Red as the work itself.
