Opill and HAVAS Red Win a Silver Bulldog PR Award for Best Healthcare Campaign
Today, Bulldog Reporter announced the winners of the 2026 Bulldog PR Awards — and HAVAS Red took home Silver for Best Healthcare Campaign for Opill on Campus: How Opill Met Gen Z Where It Lives, created on behalf of our client, Opill®, the first FDA-approved daily oral contraceptive available over the counter.
When Opill hit the market in 2024, access was only half the challenge. The bigger one was trust — rebuilding it in a category clouded by stigma and misinformation, especially among Gen Z women, who face the steepest barriers to contraception and the most skepticism about reproductive healthcare.
So we took Opill straight to where that skepticism lives: college campuses. Our 16-stop campus tour prioritized schools in states with more restrictive reproductive health laws, pairing humor-forward creators like Hannah Berner with WNBA athletes, an aura-reading “O-Ra Truck,” and “test your sexpertise” quizzes to turn a stigmatized topic into something open and shareable. Through our Level The Court initiative with the Black Women’s Health Imperative, we deepened reach across HBCUs, while a 15-university Her Campus ambassador network extended the conversation into peer networks in English and Spanish.
The results spoke for themselves: 70.4 million views and 544,000+ engagements from Hannah Berner’s content alone, a 6.57% engagement rate on Her Campus content (more than double their benchmark), and an Opill Access Fund that put a three-month supply of Opill into the hands of more than 300 students who needed it most.
Congratulations to our entire Opill team for proving that the most effective healthcare communications show up, in person and online, exactly where that audience already is.
